Welcome to MNVideography.com
Hi, My name is Craig Jullie and welcome to MNVideography.com. Pretty cool site, huh? Ok it's a
little bare bones but hopefully you get what you need.
I assume because you are visiting this site that you have a need for some event in your near future to be
captured on video. I also assume that the event you are interested in filming is going to take place somewhere
near the Minneapolis/St Paul metro area. If not, feel free to stay tuned but my guess is your mouse is already
on the move to the little red X right up there.
Ok good, you're still with me.
How much?
The first thing you probably want to know is "how much", am I right? If I were you, that's what I'd want to know.
Of course the answer to that question depends on how long you need me for, and how much editing is involved. A typical
wedding video includes footage from throughout the day, including arrival at the church or wedding location, video
of photos being taken, the ceremony itself, reception entry by bride and groom, toasts, cake cutting, first dances, and
general reception video. Typically this would be about 8 hours of filming and 8 hours of editing. I would provide
a "highlight reel" within a week of the wedding (posted online), and the full video within a month (on blue ray or DVD)
via US mail. For this basic coverage my quote is usually around $400. The price could go up a bit if you want a more
documentary style video with interviews of the bride and groom, wedding participants and other family members. This
requires more editing time and coordination on the day of the wedding.
Just weddings, or what?
So what types of events will I film? Well just about any event where I can get in front of the action. Weddings seem
to be the most popular, but I can also film birthday parties, sporting events, web promotional videos, documentaries,
or whatever you need.
You any good?
Ok so you could ask your odd cousin Steve to film the event for you with his iPhone probably for free, or maybe pay him with
Arby's coupons. If you have ever suffered through videos with shaky, grainie video and audio that picks up everything
except what you want to hear, you understand that this time it needs to be different. You want to be able to watch on
your HD flatscreen and see stunning full HD video with crystal clear sound. To pull that off, you need someone with the
right equiptment. I have a full HD panasonic HMC-40 video camera, tripod, a high quality shotgun microphone as well as a
wireless lavalier style microphone, and a weight balancing stabilizer to ensure smooth footage off the tripod. I also
use Sony Vegas Pro editing software so the final video looks professional with nice transitions, background music, slow
motion and more.
If you have an event coming up, please contact me to check availability and to
discuss pricing. Or maybe you just want to meet me and make sure I don't give you a creepy feeling.
